REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

SevaRun is a nonprofit organization committed to funding running shoes and gear for local school cross country and track programs. We want every interaction with SevaRun to be a positive experience. This policy outlines our approach to refunds for donations, merchandise, and event registrations.

2. Donations

Donations to SevaRun are generally non-refundable, as they are voluntary gifts made to support our charitable mission. However, if a donation was made in error (such as a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount), please contact us within 30 days of the transaction and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

To request a review, email us at sevarun2026@gmail.com with your name, donation amount, date of transaction, and a brief description of the issue.

3. Merchandise

Eligible for refund or exchange:

  • Items that arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described

  • Orders where an error occurred on our part (wrong item shipped, incorrect size sent)

Not eligible for refund:

  • Items that have been worn, washed, or used

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

Process:

To request a merchandise refund or exchange, contact us at sevarun2026@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. If approved, you will receive instructions for returning the item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item.

4. Event Registrations

Event registration fees help fund SevaRun’s mission and cover event costs. As such, registrations are generally non-refundable. However, we handle requests on a case-by-case basis under the following guidelines:

  • More than 30 days before the event: We will do our best to accommodate refund requests and may offer a partial refund or a credit toward a future SevaRun event.

  • Within 30 days of the event: Registration fees are non-refundable. You may, however, transfer your registration to another participant by contacting us before the event.

  • Event cancellation or postponement by SevaRun: If SevaRun cancels an event due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue issues, etc.), registrants will be offered either a credit toward a future event or a full refund at their discretion.

To submit an event refund or transfer request, contact us at info@sevarun.com with your name, event name, registration date, and reason for the request.

5. Processing Time

All approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
